Every issue on this site is a point of imbalance. Health is balance. Disease is imbalance. Justice is the restoration of balance. Poverty, capture, a locked machine, a sealed record, a court that files faster than it hears — each is the same kind of thing: a system that no longer returns to rest. The work begins by seeing that clearly, without sugarcoating it and without turning it into a slogan.

The Law of Balance says imbalance is what puts the world in motion. A problem page is that law applied to one fact. It names the harm. It traces the cause. It shows who is affected, who profits, and what the official story leaves out. It does not wait for a reader to already agree. The evidence has to stand on its own — a count, a statute, a named report, a date.

What a problem is

A problem is a specific, checkable failure in how a civilization is built or how it is run. It lives in one of the forty areas — twenty of infrastructure, twenty of operation — because every harm has a home. Housing that is a yield. A wage that cannot buy a room. A school that ranks and does not teach. A grid that fails on a hot night. A contract that closed the courthouse. These are not forty different philosophies. They are one law read in forty rooms.

The form is the same wherever the fact sits:

  • Name the harm in a sentence a neighbor can carry.
  • Trace the cause — a statute, a market, a design, a habit of participation.
  • Show who is affected and who takes the surplus.
  • Put the official story next to the record, and let the gap do the work.
  • Leave a door: the solution that restores the balance, and the action a person can take without permission.

What a problem is not

It is not a personality. It is not a team. It is not a feeling that something is wrong with no number attached. It is not a demand that the reader already share a politics. A captured regulator, a sealed machine, a vacant house, and a plea mill do not belong to one crop or one industry. They belong to the same pattern: a point of rest that was sold, postponed, or written out of the code.

It is also not the whole map. One investigation is one cell. The forty areas exist so a person can hold the whole without pretending one page is the civilization.

How to read one

Read the fact first. A count from a bureau, a line from a statute, a quote with a name and a date. Then read the cause. Then read who is paid to leave it standing. Then walk to the paired solution. If the page cannot survive that sequence, it is not finished.

The 40 Areas are the index. Each area holds its own investigations. The method does not change from Agriculture to Science: see the imbalance, name it, refuse to treat it as weather.
